This is the first sale ever on the Surface 2 tablet, and it only happens as a doorbuster deal from Microsoft Store as a part of their advent calendar that started on Monday, December 9th.
Microsoft's advent calendar is called "12 Days of Deals" and end on December 20. Also on sale will be the Windows 8 phone Nokia Lumia 1520, but not before Wednesday, December 18.
